More Info:

For the 40th anniversary of Vasco Rossi's first live album, "VA BENE, VA BENE COSI LIVE + LIVE UNRELEASED - 40 RPLAY SPECIAL EDITION" is released, an exclusive box set with the entire 1983 concert. This collector's special edition contains both the remastered versions of the original 1984 album and 10 tracks from Vasco's first live show in 1983 that have never been released before. These new recordings have captured the energy and emotion of an era and represent a precious treasure for all fans of the rocker, offering a unique and nostalgic experience. The box set, in addition to the double vinyl and double CD, will be enriched by another chapter of Vasco's life through the interview book edited by Gianni Poglio with unpublished photos of the time and a card to access exclusive content, first of all "Va Bene, Va Bene Così - Flashback Mix". The album was recorded over the last three dates of the Bollicine tour 1983 (the Teatro Tenda in Bologna, the Palasport in Cantù and the Verona 2000 disco in the province of Verona): an album full of energy, adrenaline and atmosphere, an album that introduced part of Vasco's early repertoire to those who had discovered the artist only after the success of Vita Spericolata and Bollicine. Released in April 1984, the album sold more than a million copies and ended up being the most successful album in Italy that year. The mixes, from the original multi-track tapes, were done by Maurizio Biancani, who had also recorded and co-produced the album. After 40 years here are 10 more tracks from that incredible performance, which bring listeners back to the rock and irreverent atmosphere of 1984, pieces that are timeless hits and that with this new edition become a precious testimony of the first great successes of Blasco, spoken songs, sometimes beautiful and sometimes funny, but always irreverent.
