Originally released on Musicor Records in 1968, 'Federal Duck' is the self-titled debut album from the obscure soft-psych band of the same name, a group of college buddies from Haverford, Pennsylvania founded by banjo exponent George Stavis. Releasing only one album before Stavis went on to record solo for 'Vanguard', this is a true underground gem from a standout among the many obscure college bands to pop up during the late sixties psychedelic era in the USA.
