More Info:

Paul Phillips is a composer, songwriter, producer, musician and R&B/Smooth Jazz vocalist from Memphis, Tennessee. As an independent artist, Paul released his first CD in June of 2007 entitled "Tonight." This CD has thirteen songs all written and produced by Paul. This project has been a life long dream of his. At an early age, Paul discovered his love for music, and has nurtured this love throughout his life-from piano to saxophone. He has always had an ear for music. He began his music career as a teenager performing in school talent shows, his high school jazz band, weddings, and parties. As an adult, Paul began to develop his own style of music. He began to collaborate with other talented artists that helped him to branch out and realize his potential. In 2003, he became associated with Fresh Ideas. This led to weekly performances at a variety of venues across the city. He has performed at the Germantown Performing Arts Center with AJE Productions as well as the Cook Convention Center as part of the entertainment for the Southern Women's Show. He has had the privilege of performing with such artists as: Miles Jaye, Melissa Morgan, Mark Baker, Wendy O!, Michael Townsend, Audie Smith and Prime Cut, The Eye to Eye Band, as well as many other mid-south artists. He is currently performing as part of the weekly line-up with Fresh Ideas at the French Quarter on Friday nights. Paul has just released a music video from his CD for the song September. It can be seen at myspace.com/paulephillips. Paul's ultimate goal is to start his own label and produce other talented artists.
